Getting Started
Quick start: your first meeting
Start using Observer in a few simple steps.
Run through this once before an important call so permissions and audio are already working.
Before the meeting
1. Open Observer and confirm you are signed in.
2. Check that Microphone and Screen Recording permissions are enabled.
3. Optionally open Instruction Mode and add context or PDFs for this meeting.
During the meeting
1. Join your call in Zoom, Meet, Teams, or another supported app.
2. In Observer, open Meetings and click Start Observer.
3. Confirm the live transcript appears if you plan to use Answer or Recap.
4. Press ⌘ D for Answer, ⌘ ⇧ D for Assist, ⌘ R for Recap, or type in chat.
After the meeting
Click Stop Observer in the same place. Observer saves notes, the transcript, and your chat history automatically.
