Meeting notes, transcripts, and conversations
What Observer saves after each meeting and how to review it.
When you stop Observer, everything from that session is stored together under one meeting record in the Meetings section.
Meeting notes
Observer generates structured notes from the conversation — key points, decisions, and takeaways. Notes are written after the session ends, not while you are still in the call.
Use them when you need a readable summary without scanning the full transcript.
Customize your notes format
You can set a meeting notes template in your active Instruction Mode preset. Add section headings and descriptions for each part of your notes — Observer generates meeting notes in that format when the session ends.
Open Instruction Mode, select or create an instruction, and edit the Notes template section. See the Instruction Mode guide for setup details.
Full transcript
The complete live transcript captured during the session, turn by turn. Useful when you need exact wording, quotes, or a precise record of who said what.
Your conversation
Every question you asked Observer and every reply it streamed into chat during the meeting. This is separate from the raw transcript — it is your working dialogue with Observer, including Answer, Assist, Recap, and typed chat messages.
How to review a past meeting
1. Open Observer and go to Meetings.
2. Select the meeting you want.
3. Switch between notes, transcript, and conversation tabs.
What is not saved separately
Observer does not store raw audio files. The transcript and notes are the durable record of what was said.
Sharing and export
Review meetings inside Observer after the call. If you need to share outcomes, copy from notes or transcript as needed for your workflow.
