Keyboard shortcuts
Control Observer quickly without leaving your meeting app.
Observer is built to stay out of the way. Shortcuts let you ask, answer, and reposition the window while your meeting app stays in focus.
You can also see the full list in the app under Key Bindings in the dashboard.
General
Show or hide Observer
Command + /
Toggles the Observer window visibility.
Screen analysis
Command + Enter
Captures the screen and analyzes it. Works when the chat input is empty, same as pressing Enter with no text typed.
Clear chat
Command + K
Clears the current chat thread. The chat window must be open.
Quick actions
Answer
Command + D
Short transcript-based reply to the latest conversation context. Requires an active transcript.
Assist
Command + Shift + D
Captures your screen and sends an Assist request. Uses transcript too when listening is active.
Recap
Command + R
Summarizes recent transcript turns. Requires an active transcript.
Window position
Snap left
Command + Shift + L
Dock Observer along the left edge of your screen.
Snap center
Command + Shift + C
Center Observer on screen.
Snap right
Command + Shift + R
Dock Observer along the right edge of your screen.
Scroll chat
Scroll up
Command + Up
Move up through the chat history. Chat must be open.
Scroll down
Command + Down
Move down through the chat history. Chat must be open.
Chat mode toggles
Use the icon for Screen + text and the icon for Power Mode in the chat bar. These are click toggles, not keyboard shortcuts.
On Windows, use Ctrl instead of Command.
