Is Observer visible in meetings?
Understand when Observer is hidden during screen sharing.
Observer never appears in your meeting's participant list. It runs on your Mac, not inside the call.
Default visibility
Undetectability Mode is off by default. Observer behaves like a normal desktop window on your screen.
During screen sharing
When Undetectability Mode is on, Observer is hidden from shared content — other participants should not see it in what you share.
What others can still see
Observer does not join the call, so there is no Observer bot tile or name in Zoom, Meet, or Teams.
Your local screen is still visible to you; Undetectability Mode affects what appears in shared content, not whether Observer works locally.
Toggle
Turn Undetectability Mode on or off from General settings before a meeting, or use the hat icon in the main Observer window during a session. See the Undetectability Mode guide for full details.
