Use cases

Help in the call. Notes that match the job.

Observer is an AI meeting companion for sales calls, interviews, recruiting, and everyday meetings. A Playbook is how you change the buttons and the notes for that conversation, from a template or one you write.

  • Any live call

Join Zoom, Meet, Teams, or Slack. Start a meeting in Observer. Reply, Recap, or ask a question while people are still talking. No bot joins the call.

  • Notes when it ends

End the session. Observer writes notes from the active Playbook’s headings, saves the transcript, and keeps the chat. Edit, rewrite, or send to Notion.

  • Your meeting type

Sales, interviews, recruiting, standups, lectures, or something that is not in the list. Templates cover the common ones. A custom Playbook covers yours.

Templates

One Playbook per kind of meeting

Each template ships a prompt, Quick Actions, and note headings for that meeting type. Open one to see the difference.

When you are the candidate

Interview

Keep your resume and the job description in context, and leave with clean notes on every round.

Observer looks for the questions asked, what you covered, and good questions to ask the team.

In the call

Interviewer

Walk me through how you would design a notification system that can retry failed deliveries.

You

I’d start with the failure modes: timeouts versus poison messages.

Ask Them

Ask: “Is there an existing queue the team relies on today, or is notification delivery greenfield?” It shows you are designing around their constraints, and the answer tells you which failure modes matter most to them.

Notes after the call

Headings from this Playbook. That is why a sales recap and a standup are not the same document.

Custom Playbooks

Not on the list? Write your own.

A customer onboarding, a board update, a support escalation: create a Playbook for that workflow.

Setup detail is in the Playbooks and Quick Actions guides.

How it works
  1. 01

    Open Playbooks and click New.

  2. 02

Write the prompt: your role, the goal, and how Observer should answer.

  3. 03

Attach a PDF if the call depends on one: a brief, a contract, a runbook.

  4. 04

Add Quick Actions from the catalog, or write your own (name, prompt, and whether it reads the transcript, the screen, or the web).

  5. 05

Set the note headings so the document after the call matches this meeting, not a generic recap.

  6. 06

Set it active. Switch from the session menu if the next call is different.

Start from a template. Or write your own.
