Power Mode
Combine transcript, screen, instructions, and your question in one request.
Power Mode is Observer's fullest context mode for typed chat. It is the icon in the chat bar — not the icon used for Screen + text.
What Power Mode includes
- Live meeting transcript
- A fresh screenshot
- Instruction Mode prompt and PDF summary from your active preset
- Your typed question
- Chat history from the current meeting
How to turn it on
1. Start Observer and confirm the transcript is running.
2. Click the icon in the chat bar.
3. Type your question and press Enter.
Power Mode vs Screen + text
Screen + text () sends your prompt with a screenshot on every message. Instruction Mode prompt, PDF summary, and chat history are included too, but the live transcript is not added unless you also enable Power Mode.
Power Mode () merges transcript, screen, instructions, PDF summary, chat history, and your question when one answer needs all of them.
When to use it
- A question references both what was said and what is on screen.
- You uploaded PDFs or instructions that should inform the answer.
- Answer or Assist alone would miss part of the context.
When not to use it
- You only need a quick transcript reply → use Answer.
- You only need help with visible content → use Assist or Screen + text.
- You want a recap → use Recap.
